Brad Point Bits - Set of 25

This set contains 25 brad point drill bits ranging in size from 1mm to 13mm in 0.5mm increments. Made from high carbon steel these brad point bits will leave clean holes in hardwood, softwood and composite wood and are excellent for occasional use, where the higher cost of HSS bits can not be justified. The bits are back tapered from the cutting edge to minimise friction and prevent binding and have been fully ground to give precise concentricity to ensure an accurate hole. The deep flutes are polished to allow fast chip clearance, preventing the build up of swarf in the flutes, resulting in smooth scorch-free side walls. The tips of the angled chipping bevels fully score the circumference of the hole for a clean entry. Presented in a hinged steel carry case, these bits are organised and clearly marked for easy size identification. ©
