The scoring cut setting locks the depth of cut to 2.5mm, providing a shallow, preliminary pass on melamine or veneer faced boards to minimise chipping and tear-out. Free plunge mode is selected for normal operation, whilst the blade change mode locks the blade height in position to perform quick and easy blade changes using the onboard hex key. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eA variable speed range of 2,000 to 5,500rpm, allows you to finely control the speed to suit the blade, application and material, with the current speed setting illuminated on the 5 level LED display.
