Mobile Base

Bought these bases for band saw spindle sander belt/disc sander, bench planer and thickness planer also all from rutlands. I just built plywood cabinets to sit them on and the adjustable bases worked perfectly, are very strong and the locking wheels keep the tools stable when in use.

Extended mine to 750 by 750 to use with the splayed legs of a Bosch table saw stand. Looks like it would even extend beyond this if required. Versatile design and very robust.

I had problems with the steering wheels braking lever getting stuck underneath when turning. I was told they would be OK as long as you don't turn around. That's not what I expected, but I suppose they have no better idea how to use them.

Well worth the money (4 pack), easily constructed and put together. Wide range of base size to adapt to fit your personal requirements.Makes life so much easier when now moving tools around a tight workshop. I have mounted my Rutlands Tool Stands onto these bases which now have a chop saw, a band saw and a pillar drill and Mortice on another. Should have bought these long before rather than trying to lift and move.The wheels and base are very sturdy and the brake lock work wheels when using the power tool, no vibration or movement. 5 Stars!! from me. These arrived very well packed, looked like a Meccano set when i opened the box, however they went together well, look very robust.One point you will need several different sockets/spanners when assembling.Good product, helps with small workshops that you can move heavy equipment around with ease.
