Product Details
This premium vacuum cleaner offers outstanding performance and thorough cleaning in the home and workshop. In Germany this vacuum is used by more than 150,000 carpenters and craftsmen to maintain a dust-free workplace. The vacuum is compact and lightweight and can be carried with one hand, including the hose and accessories, due to the onboard tool storage.
The 1200W motor has enormous suction power of 260 mbar and features variable air-flow control, to adjust the suction to suit all floor surfaces. Extremely quiet in use at just 65dB, you can conveniently switch on and off by hand or foot. Any 230V power tool, less than 1500W can be plugged into the head of the vacuum and the automated socket then activates the vacuum simultaneously with the connected power tool. The vacuum will run for a further 5 seconds after the power tool is switched off to clear any dust left in the hose.
The vacuum has four-fold dust filtration, comprising of a Hepa fleece filter bag, Hepa filter cartridge, Hepa filter basket and Hepa filter sponge to ensure that the air re-entering the atmosphere is clean. Large, rubberised wheels offer stability and agility at the same time and the 5m heavy-duty rubber power cord can be safely stowed on the large, lockable cable hook. The body of the vacuum is made from a high impact polypropylene to withstand the knocks and bumps associated with professional use. The vacuum is supplied with a 2m highly flexible kink-proof hose, 2 x 500mm aluminium straight tubes, 300mm floor head, 100mm floor head, crevice tool, fleece filter bag and a stepped rubber adaptor to connect to the ports of power tools.
This is a very impressive premium performance vacuum with power tool take off, which we can highly recommend having used it daily in our product testing workshop for the past 2 years. This vacuum cleaner has a 3 year warranty and in the event that it fails due to a material or manufacturing defect the vacuum or component will be replaced free of charge. ©

Compact but extremely powerful. Its smaller than I was expecting but boy does it suck. Used it on my car first and it got all the dog hairs out, nothing else came close. The power take off is brilliant for my track saw and the run on after I switch the saw off is just enough to get the final dust out of the saw or hose. Highly recommended.

The vacuum cleaner works as expected removing sawdust from my bandsaw. I have not used it for anything else as yet (only had it a week).
My only gripe is that there is no proper stowage for the power cord.

Really pleased with this vacuum. I have been running it without using the bags, as suggested by another reviewer, with no problems, making it cheaper to run (but messier to empty). Very quiet and very good suction. I particularly like the way the nozzle can be easily removed from, and reattached to, the end of the hose making it easy to unclog when I have sucked up up something I should not have. Power take-off with automatic activation very handy. Found this at a huge discount, when offered, due to wrong packaging. An absolute no-brainer purchase.

Bought this as a 2nd shop vac.
Really impressed with the power and suction so far.
Like the amount of time the run on goes on for .

Bought this, because I wanted something small, powerful, yet quiet and this hasn't let me down. Suction is very good and I love the fact o don't have to turn it on when using power tools through it. Bags are quite small and I imagine would get filled in no time so mine goes straight into the drum via the filter. Good as a general Hoover too.

I purchased this machine with 2 clear objectives in mind.
1) Keeping the workshop air clean (I have a slight lung problem so this is a must).
2) stop annoying the neighbours with the noise caused by my 50 litre dust extractor.
Both objectives have been achieved beyond expectations.
There is no detectable dust at the exhaust (measured by holding a fine white cloth over it while in use) No 1 achieved.
I then measured the decibels both inside and outside the workshop. it is advertised as being 65 decibels but that is only achieved with the meter right next to either the machine or the end of the suction pipe. Yes the suction is so good that the end of the pipe makes more noise (67 decibels) than the machine. Objective no 2 achieved.
The results seemed so good that I even went out at 11:30pm to check it against the ambient noise when it should be at it's quietest. At less than 1 meter from the closed door the vacuum was not detectable.
Given the above results I could use both my lathe and scroll saw at 2 in the morning without any neighbours being any the wiser. Table saw, Band saw, Sanders and Routers are a different matter but even these get lost in the ambient noise in the daytime so long as I shut the door.
Delighted just about covers it.

Very impressed with suction and just how quiet it is. Was wary at first about the take off part but it works really well on my router table. Great value for money. On the downside, Rutlands need to use a different courier as Parcel Farce are rubbish (may just be my area)!

The best vacuum my money could buy, honestly. So quiet, enough suction for all the woodworking that I do. Using the Rutlands 3 Metre Universal Power Tool Hose Kit I was able, with little effort, to connect it to my Oneida Dust Deputy, so I am stoked.

I am very pleased with this machine on three counts first quiet, second performance, snd third value for money

I agree with the previous review. It is compact, very, well made and very quiet. Yes definitely a cross between a Festool and a Henry.
Paul Foxton
I am a big Festool fan but having had my last two vacuums stolen from site I am having to work to a budget. This vacuum arrived a couple of days ago and I am more than pleased. It is much quieter than my previous Festool machines and the build quality is excellent. The on off switch is great as you can use your foot and body has a number of location slots where you can insert the wand when you are carrying the vacuum around. The motor runs for a few seconds after you switch your power tool off so that the dust hose is fully cleared (but then again so does the Festool). I would put this as a cross between a posh Henry and a Festool Midi. Great vacuum which I would not hesitate to buy again or recommend to anyone.

Beware your wife will want this machine. Mine arrived yesterday and I assembled it in the lounge. Her indoors asked if she could try it before I took it out the workshop and got it all dusty. "It's really easy to manoeuvre and very quiet, too good for your workshop" was her comment. She's not wrong but she isn't having it!
Paul Tarbot
Powerful, compact, ease to carry as everything has a location port and very, very quiet. Negative is that the collection bags are too expensive.
Mr F Feld
I do not normally write reviews however this machine deserves some praise. It looks like a premium machine as soon as you open the box and it only gets better from there on in. The noise level is very low. Many manufacturers claim low noise but this one delivers. It has some very practical design features such as variable suction control, a foot operated switch and tool stowage during transportation. I disagree with the first reviewer who called it a cross between a Henry and a Festool Midi. It is better than those.
