This 63mm premium stretch dust hose extends from 1000mm when retracted to 6000mm when fully expanded and features a helical spring-steel wire that makes the hose extremely flexible, with a very small bending radius. Kink proof, the hose is made from a 0.7mm high-grade PVC, which is puncture, abrasion and chemical resistant. The smooth, low friction inner surface offers improved material flow and reduced turbulence to prevent dust build up and clogging when working with high dust out-put machines such as planer thicknessers, bench saws, router tables and woodturning lathes.
The hose is transparent to allow for any obstruction to be spotted instantly, is UV resistant and will remain flexible in the coldest of workshops down to -40°C. The inner diameter of the hose is 63mm for connecting to industry standard dust hose fittings and machine ports. This is a great addition to Rutlands' Wall-Mount Fine Dust Collector. It stores out of the way when not in use and reaches all four corners of the workshop when needed - which is a big benefit in a small workshop when all the machines are mobile.

These retracting hoses are the way to go if anything you're attaching to moves. I have a table saw guard mounted to an arm that swings down from the ceiling. I then fold it back up when not in use and this type of hose was essential. The stretch and flexibility is brilliant. Also have a larger one on the planer and table saw main outlet. They also fit around tight bends if that's what route you need to take where a standard hose might not want to make a tight radius.

Not had an opportunity to use it yet but seems to be durable and well made.
It is less tolerant of port size than the more "open" spiral hose, and we found it wouldn't go over the 65 dia floor sweeper kit we bought, but it fits 63mm ports very well.
It's LH "thread" if you need to use it with bridging clamps.

I had looked at this before a few times but really wasn't sure as it was more expensive then other hoses I'd used in the past. But I finally decided to get one and I regret not doing it sooner. If you have to disconnect tools or want to share one hose between several this is amazing it's much more flexible then others stretches a really long way. I don't think you'll get the 6 metres it says without really yanking on it but it's a good at 5 metres. It also stows away so well as it wants to contract back to it's original size.
