This is a simple, no-nonsense doweling jig that will deliver strong, precise joints with minimal set up required. Dissimilar to many other doweling jigs, you do not need to transfer marks from the face of the board to the edge of the board, neither do you need to measure and mark with a tape measure. You simply set the two parts together and strike a line across the centre of the joint.
The jigs transparent face and reference lines allow you to line up the jig perfectly with just that one line. The jig can be realigned easily with the fixing screws. Once positioned, simply clamp up and drill using the supplied 10mm drill bit with depth stop. The jig will centre dowel holes on 19mm thick board and the holes are spaced 19mm from centre to centre.
