Product Details

This digital angle finder allows for precision angle measurement for layout work and can be used as a setup tool for machinery and power tools. It is perfect for transfer angle applications such as mitred trim work, crown moulding, roof slopes and wall corners. It is commonly used for measuring the angle inside and outside of wall corners for the precise and tight fitting of mouldings, dados, skirting and rails. It measures angles in any plane with 0.05° resolution and is accurate to ±0.15°.

The angle finder features a large, easy to read LCD display that can be zeroed when you need to take relative measurements. The body is constructed of anodised aluminium making it lightweight and corrosion resistant, and water and dustproof to IP54. An embedded spirit level allows you to easily check whether your working surface is horizontal. The blade can be locked at any angle up to 220° which allows the easy transfer of measurements.

The digital angle finder is 270mm when closed and comes with a long life 3V CR2032 lithium ion battery. The tool switches on when opened and automatically shuts down after 5 minutes of inactivity to preserve battery life. ©

Bought one of these whilst in the process of updating some of the hand tools in my machine shop and I have to say what a brilliant addition. Robust construction super accurate and has been a godsend for angle transfers for one off vertical spindle mouldings and transfer of angles to mitre saws too. I was lucky enough to get one whilst they were on offer for twenty but after seeing it and using it I would still quite happily give the full asking price without hesitation. Yet again well done Rutland's on a well designed solid example of your own brand tooling.
Five stars.

Paul Rogers

Great for first and second fix joinery. Previously had a plastic version with notched graduations which was ok but if you knocked it when transferring to your mitre saw you have to go back and reset it. With this one you can read the angle and if you knock it you just move it back to the correct angle.
Looks good as well!

I use this on a daily basis when transferring angles to my Festool Kapex. Nice clear read out, very accurate and stays in position when locked off.
