This digital dial gauge gives highly accurate readings when setting up machinery tables and fences or checking runout on table saws and drill press shafts. It is supplied with a powerful magnetic base with on-off control and the 50mm diameter dial gauge can accurately measure up to 13mm. There is a large, easy to read LCD display that has a resolution of 0.01mm which can be zeroed at any point along its measuring range, for when you need to take relative measurements.
The base has two magnetic faces, one is flat and the other has a machined groove for magnetic attachment to round or square sections. The main support arm of the magnetic base is made from a 12mm diameter steel bar and measures 160mm in length. The top bar is also 160mm in length has a clever spring-loaded adjustment system for micro adjusting the height of the dial gauge. The gauge can be rotated through 360° both horizontally and vertically to give maximum choice when positioning the gauge.
The body of the digital dial gauge is made from an impact resistant ABS and the display is powered by an included 3V CR2032 lithium ion battery which automatically shuts off after 5 minutes of inactivity. ©
