Marking out equally spaced holes can be difficult especially when using a tape measure. Slight inaccuracies in each measurement can add up to fairly large errors at the end. This equi-divider is the simple way to eradicate these errors. Made from stainless steel, this gauge features eight tips, each with a flat side. Due to its innovative design this divider automatically sets the tips at equal intervals along its length. With its ability to expand from 3" up to an impressive 24", the equi-divider will handle all widths of boards. If longer boards are used or more marks required, the equi-divider can be repositioned as many times as required. Knurled brass locking nuts pinch down on to the gauge to keep it at the required setting. A simple, accurate, no fuss way of marking out. ©

The divider has a huge amount of 'play' in the mechanism. Consequently the devisions are inaccurate by up to +-7mm- which negates the whole function of the divider. Poor quality tool- not suitable for accurate dividing/marking.

Ideal for those of us who do a lot of repeat cutting. Easy to use and lock in to position. Only gripe would be that sometimes it isn't long enough. can we have a longer one with more points please?
