This marking square allows you to easily and accurately transfer markings from one face of the wood to an adjacent face. Use the square to easily mark at 45 or 90 degrees - the most popular and widely used angles. The inner edge of both windows are both 15mm from the edge of the wood which allows you to easily scribe a line from the edge of your workpiece at this preset distance.
The square has been CNC machined from a single piece of aircraft grade aluminium. The square has then been black anodised finished which will protect it against scratches and make it durable. Three crisp and clear metric scales have then been laser etched onto three sides of the square.

I was in two minds whether to buy this. It was an add on to some other tools I ordered and seemed a bit expensive for what it is but it is a brilliant little tool for marking out. The quality is fantastic and there are lots of permutations you can use it in where a normal set square might not fit.

This is one of those devices where you think "Why should I buy that, it's just an unneccessay purchase, I don't need one and managed quite well without one todate" That precisely what I thought but for some reason did buy it. It definately makes marking out much easier, quicker, and slightly more accurate. Now given the option, I would not be without it.

I have a Shinwa version of this square which has been incredibly useful over the years, the only problem is that the material of the Shinwa is soft and I have cut into it with a marking knife when marking. I ordered this from one of Rultnads mailshots to try it out. It is every bit as accurate as the Shinwa version and appears to be made of stronger material - although I don't want to test it by cutting into it.
