Designed for use in angle grinders these discs will carve, sculpt, shape or smooth hardwoods, softwoods and exotic woods. They feature hundreds of long lasting, razor sharp, hardened cutting teeth, which are formed in a unique pattern to minimise clogging while providing rapid stock removal. By reducing the pressure, a smooth and consistent finish can be achieved, alternatively add pressure and the discs will quickly create shape.
These discs are well suited for the shaping of large carvings, chair seats, busts, oak beams and in all other operations where typically a gouge or spoke shave would be used. The curved disc is excellent for working on concave areas and any inside curves whilst the tapered disc has a wide face for shaping or smoothing convex and flat surfaces. The 16mm centre bore allows the 100mm discs to be used with industry standard 115 - 125mm angle grinders using safety approved eye protection. These carving discs are highly durable, long lasting and are excellent for wood shaping. ©

Sturdy disc and comparable in quality to more well known brands

First time ever using anything carving/shaping related on an angle grinder! It's very easy to use but extremely messy and produces lots of fine dust and you will be covered in it, so wear a dust mask.
