Product Details

With a foam brush, there are no bristles to lose, and it will not leave brush marks in your finish and these American made foam brushes really are the best we've ever tried. There is nothing worse than applying paint, varnish or stain to a project only to find the brush has shed its loose bristles all over your smart, new finish. They are a pain to remove and more often than not, they damage and spoil your finish.

The specially formulated polyurethane foam absorbs the finish consistently and allows it to spread out uniformly across the width of the foam giving a smooth, even flow. This means that fewer strokes are needed to cover the work. A polyethylene insert gives the foam support and stiffens it to a bristle like flexibility.

The wooden handles are sized proportionately to the foam making these brushes very easy to control. A chisel tip on the foam assists with fine tasks such as cutting in and covering small, detailed areas. Suitable for the application of enamels, latex, oil paint, stains and varnishes, these foam brushes are supplied in 25mm, 50mm and 75mm widths to suit small to large scale projects. These brushes are designed to be disposed of after use but may be washed if required. Supplied as a pack of 75, with 25 brushes of each size of 25mm, 50mm and 75mm. ©

Great value on the BOGOF deal and do a great job, used for oiling teak garden furniture perfect for the job, I have previously tried cheaper options that the foam was too long compared to support inside so rubbish, not the case with these
Great value

Bought a pack on the 2 for 1 offer having never used foam brushes before. Used with French Chic Chalky paint and then the "Tuf coat" sealant on kitchen doors. Flawless finish not a brush mark in sight. I have then taken off the foam and used for glue and paint stirring. So impressed bought another pack for future use.

I got two for one so I really did get value for money. Good quality too.

Martyn Pritchard

Good quality for a great price

Steven Lowton

I used these for spreading glue and also for applying stain and with 40 in the box, these will last a long time, great value.

Peter Stevens

Used these on many occasions, they are excellent for stains, paint and once used get rid of the sponge and use them for spreading glue or fibreglass gel

David Chivers

I use these brushes to apply stains and varnish. An excellent finish is achievable and no stray brush hairs!!

Chris Nicholas

I use these to apply melamine lacquer to turned wood items. Unlike a bristle brush, these never seem to leave any bubbles, and certainly no brush marks. Cheap enough to throw away when finished, these seem to be the best quality I have found.

We make custom sized frames for artists work and need to apply various stains, paints and finishes to the wood. We always use water based products, previously employing a variety of small paint brushes. I bought the foam brushes when they were on offer so got them at a good price. I now would only paint our frames using this product. We get a much better smooth, even finish. They hold more paint than a traditional brush so are quicker to use. You can wash them out and get about 3 or 4 uses per brush. Very happy with this purchase.

I build small pieces of furniture for exhibitions and I had been looking in to purchasing an airless sprayer because I was unhappy with even the best quality sponge rollers on the market. These brushes have change my mind as they gave me a perfect finish!

To answer the previous reviewers question. I have used these brushes with Acid Catalyst Lacquer, Two pack Polyurethane varnish and single component alkyd varnish and never had a problem. I had the same concern after reading the handles and thought maybe the foam would be damaged by such finishes but again I've not had any problems. Good price and quality.

Clare

These foams are brilliant! Have used them today with emulsion and gloss and couldn't be more pleased with the results. Cutting in is easy, the finish is great and they are cheap enough to throw away rather than try and clean up using noxious chemicals or gallons of water. May never use a brush again.
