Product Details

Powered by a 600 watt motor, this high volume, low pressure (HVLP) paint sprayer allows for all popular coatings to be sprayed including stains, lacquers, varnishes, enamels, primers, acrylics and creosote, although some may need to be thinned before use. A high volume of fluid is sprayed at a low pressure, causing up to 90% less overspray compared to a conventional spray system. The low pressure allows you to lay the paint on rather than blasting it on, resulting in a softer, easier application of the spray, meaning much more of the finish ends up on the desired surface. As less fluid is consumed, material costs are reduced and there is less impact on your workshop, garage or garden surroundings.

Designed for portability, the spray gun can be stowed upright in the motor casing when not in use. Comfortable to use for long periods this electric paint spray gun has a soft grip handle and an adjustable 2.5mm nozzle for vertical, horizontal and circular spray patterns. To check your coating is suitable prior to spraying, you simply pour 100ml of your coating into the supplied viscosity cup and time in seconds how long it takes to flow through. The instruction guide shows how long (known as DIN-s) each type of coating should take to flow through the cup, i.e. varnish 15 to 40 seconds. If within range you are good to spray, if not then you need to thin accordingly.

Operating at a flow rate of 1000ml per minute under a maximum spray pressure 0.3 of a bar this HVLP sprayer will allow the novice paint sprayer to achieve excellent results after a few practice sprays. Supplied with 2 metres of 230V power cable and plug, viscosity measuring cup, a cleaning needle and a 900ml spray gun with a 2.5mm nozzle. An excellent choice for woodworking projects, car restoration and general home and garden painting, it has a 3 year warranty, excluding wear, and if the paint sprayer fails due to a material or manufacturing defect it or its component will be replaced free of charge.

Cracking piece of kit. Used to spray bespoke kitchen cabinets with both lacquer and paint. Took a little while to ' dial it in ' but was flawless after that. Very easy to recommend this.

Steven Proctor

Sprayed fence panels with ease, 3 spray patterns and volume control, maybe the container could be larger so less time filling up. Still an excellent product.

Service from Rutlands was faultless. Sprayer arrived on time and in good condition. Only just unboxed the item so not able to review performance as yet. However, this bit of kit looks to be manufactured to a high standard and I am confident it will do what it says on the tin !

James Peat

excellent product and painted the exterior of a bungalow with no issues.

Brilliant spray gun.

I bought it to spray wooden projects and it is by far the best one I have owned. Back in the early 90s I worked in a garage and sprayed vehicles, this is as good as the professional systems I used to use. Well worth buying.

Drew

This is my 1st paint sprayer and I love it.

It took surprislingly little practice for me to get used to the gun and to be able to produce a flawless finish. So far I have used emulsions and poly varnishes thinned to about 40 Din/s. I am extreamly happy with the ease of application, time taken, the finish and the ease of gun clean up.

I would recommend this one.

Bought this for a garden Arbour project and as on special offer worth a go. Well it exceeded my expectations and after bit of experiment applied water based paint (thinned a little) and Cuprinol Colour Shades direct from the tin. You need to adjust the dial to suit the paint you are applying as any sprayer but really pleased with finish achieved particularly as first attempt. At original price its good, as special price a snip!

Our company makes kitchens and fitted wardrobes and we have a number of fairly expensive HVLP spray systems in our workshop. We bought this unit because of its portability. We needed a small spray unit for carrying out touch up work and minor spray repair jobs on site when fitting. It has proved its weight in gold. It is very easy to control the spray pattern and paint volume and importantly for us it is very easy to clean down after each job. All eight fitters now have one in their vehicles. Excellent price for a decent spray gun.

Matty Smith

Absolutely brilliant! I sprayed a whole two story Playhouse with this spray gun. I was very impressed with the power the quietness and see efficiency this machine. control nozzle of the gun could have been a bit more precise but for this price I really cannot argue. I used cuprinol colours straight from the can on this project which works perfectly

I purchased this a couple of days ago and it arrived this morning. Very quick delivery.I bought this as I have a couple of fences, two sheds and some trellis to treat this back end.The claim regarding very little overspray did appeal and after examining the outfit and trying it out with plain water, I think it may do the trick. It looks a well made bit of equipment but the proof will be in its use when I get to work with it. I only send this review at this stage as "Rutlands" asked me to even though it had not yet arrived. I have bought quite a few items from them in the past and have never been disappointed yet.
