This kit combines an exceptional headless pinner with a premium performance, compact, low noise compressor which has been specifically designed for nailing operations. It also features 10 metres of highly flexible, non marring air hose and all necessary quick connection fittings.
Premium Headless Pinner - 23g
The headless pinner has been designed and patented in the USA. Unlike other pinners, it features a precision machined aluminium cylinder and piston valve, which when you squeeze the trigger results in ultra-smooth and exceptionally powerful firing of the driving pin. There is virtually no kick back in the hand, even when firing into exotic hardwoods with 50mm pins, leaving an inconspicuous hole that can simply be painted-over or filled with sanding dust to colour match the surrounding wood. 23 gauge headless pins are 0.6mm in diameter and displace minimal material allowing you to drive tight up to an edge without risk of splitting the wood.
The patented, easy to fill and side loading magazine is made from machined aluminium and self-adjusts to accept pins from 12mm to 50mm. The trigger automatically disengages as you reach the last few pins in the magazine, eliminating the risk of dry firing and preventing damage to the surface of your work. You can quickly and simply override dry firing mode if you want to use the remaining pins. A swivel coupling prevents the hose from tangling and a rear mounted exhaust vent directs air away from the operator. The pinner operates at 5 to 7 bar pressure and can be used up to 8 bar when firing pins into very dense hardwoods. The narrow nose design allows for access to tight areas and angles, and the soft silicone tip prevents marring of contoured faces. Precision engineering tolerances on the nose of the pinner ensure for jam free operation and tool longevity.

The kit is supplied with a premium performance, compact compressor which has been specifically designed for professional use with pneumatic nailers and pinners. The 560 watt motor combined with the 4 litre high pressure tank delivers up to 45 litres of air per minute from 0 to 8.8 bar pressure. It features two pressure gauges, one to measure the pressure in the tank and the other to measure the output pressure going to the tool.
Once the tank has reached the pre-set pressure of 8.8 bar the motor automatically switches off. As air is used the pressure in the tank drops and the motor automatically restarts to ensure that the output pressure remains constant. You can adjust the output pressure to a maximum of 8.8 bar (125psi), by simply rotating the red dial, to allow for precise pressure settings to suit the nailer in hand. This pressure combined with the air flow rate allows for the nailing of 23g pins, 18g brads, 16g T head nails, 15g finish nails and clipped head framing nails into softwoods, hardwoods and composite woods. This compressor has been engineered to have a low noise level of 50dB, making it ideal for use on site or in the workshop.

It is manufactured from a blend of polymer that has no spool memory, so it will not recoil and lies flat in use. It is extremely strong and highly resistant to splitting and abrasion and remains flexible even in very cold temperatures. Its highly visible colour is easy to spot minimising trip risks and its flexibility allows for it to smoothly run around corners without snagging. This is a beautifully engineered pin nailer. The nose has been designed so that you can get deep into the grooves in mouldings so that there is no trace of the pin. Squeeze the trigger and you hardly hear a noise as the pin fires home. The compressor has a lovely rubberised air hose, not the normal shiny style that marks your work piece if it rubs. Once filled with air the compressor will fire approx 50 pins before the motor kicks back in to refill the tank. Highly recommended.

This pinner is fantastic. Fires so sweetly in hard and soft woods and never misses a shot. Feels great in the hand and oozes quality as soon as you pick it up. Also very happy with the compressor as it is extremely quiet, easy to carry and again smacks of quality straight out of the box. I've use Senco in the past and this is in a different league. If you do a lot of fine finish work where you don't want the heads to be visible - this is the choice - brilliant. I could sit there all day fire pins in!
