This premium, industrial-grade D4 PVA wood glue has been formulated to create a bond stronger than wood itself. It complies to international standards EN204 and is waterproof, impact and temperature resistant. It dries clear and can be used internally and externally, on all types of wood including hard and softwood, MDF, chipboard and plywood.
Due to its high solids content it has superior gap filling characteristics and its high viscosity reduces joint starving and virtually eliminates staining. Excess wet glue can be cleaned off with a damp cloth and any excess cured glue can be sanded away before painting or staining. Glue should be applied and spread to both surfaces and clamped for 60 to 120 minutes. Joints should not be stressed for 8 hours at which point the bond will be stronger than wood itself. It has a longer opening time and is both non toxic and non combustible.
This excellent formulation is a favourite in joinery workshops due to its exceptional bond strength and because it can be used on both indoor and outdoor projects. Good consistency for covering larger surfaces as it brushes well. The open time is also good to enable you to cover the area before it becomes tacky. I had to glue 10 strips of wood 12mm thick by 1200mm long in a stack so that I could bend into an arch which meant I had to work quickly. This glue did the job well and after a couple of hours I was able to remove the plywood from work to reveal the finished piece. Very happy with the results.

I have used it on many indoor and outdoor projects but my best result came from a whim.
We have wooden spatulas for use in cooking which go through the dishwasher after every use. The handle snapped on one while I was using it to help defrost the freezer. On a whim I decided to test out the glue to see if A) it really did make a joint stronger than the original wood, and B) is it really waterproof.
The answer is YES. The spatula is back in use in the kitchen and happily goes through the dishwasher.

Can't find the equivalent value for money anywhere else.. Nozzle keeps the product from curing in the bottle.. Better than a screw nail or dowel normally used to seal other products!

This is a great general purpose non-foaming adhesive for interior and exterior uses. As easy to use as regular PVA adhesive but rated at D4 standard so I have no worries about using it when glueing up exterior joinery such as window frames etc. Bonds wood joints superbly in a short time, so cramps are quickly liberated for glueing the next frame. Excellent open/close nozzle that allows the adhesive to be delivered exactly where needed. Easy to clean up. So good and at such a good price that I ordered three one litre bottles.

Really like the nozzle on the bottle. Rotate in one direction to open and in the other to close. Stops air from entering the bottle and stops the glue going off. Easy to wipe off any excess glue from the joint and doesn't foam up like that other well known brand.

I find this glue excellent for working with dark woods as the glue dries clear and there is no noticeable glue lines on the joints. Some PVA's tend to leave a dark glue line that never matches the colour of the wood, and ruins the project. This glue absorbs well and creates a very strong bond. Excellent glue at a very sensible price.

I recently made two outdoor planters from white oak, finished with a clear matt Osmo oil, so I needed an adhesive that would not discolour the surface and that would withstand the elements. So far the glue has done what it says o the tin, rather bottle. We have had a number of heavy showers and the joints look as tight as can be. Would recommend.
