This pack of 12 interlocking gripping blocks provide a secure hold on your workpiece without the need to use clamps. The grip is applied from below your work which allows you to work unobstructed from above. Perform long continuous passes over the entire length of your workpiece without stopping to reposition clamps.
The anti-slip rubber surface grips both your bench top and the underside of your workpiece, raising it off the bench to create 25mm of clearance. This allows you to use edge profiling router bits and means the base of your project will not be scratched by your workbench. The large rubber pads work to reduce vibration to allow for maximum control of your power tool. The no-mar design of the pads ensures that both your workpiece and work surface are protected from marks during use.
These versatile blocks are ideal for routing, sanding, drilling or finishing and can be split over a larger area or used as one unit depending on the size of your workpiece. I repair and make Mah Jong boxes and bought the grip blocks to see if they could hold the boxes on my workbench without using mechanical devices, dogs or props off the back wall - they work brilliantly so no more accidental damage to finished surfaces - recommended

I have been using a perforated mat to secure the workpiece. These are far better as they raise the level of the workpiece above the bench. Seem sturdy and secure.

I got some of these last week and I am very impressed. The pads are surprisingly grippy and the 25mm clearance is very useful. I originally ordered to hold boards while I sanded over the top of them but I can see I will be using them for many other projects in my workshop.
