Each router bit features diamond ground, micro-grain tungsten carbide tipped blades. This tighter micro-grain structure means the blades offer long lasting hardness and superior edge retention. The body of each bit has been turned and then milled with uncompromising precision from a single piece of 4140 high tensile steel to give perfect balance for reduced vibration and therefore smoother cuts. 4140 steel has been chosen because of its toughness, high fatigue strength, and abrasion and impact resistance. The tungsten carbide tips are then brazed onto the bodies using induction to create an extremely strong joint that safely holds under the high stresses that occur when routing. The router bits are suitable for use on softwoods, hardwoods, veneers, laminates and composite materials.

This 7 piece slot cutting router bit set features a three wing design allowing for more cuts per second producing a smoother, better quality finish than two wings. This design means you get accurate results first time, requiring you to make fewer passes on your workpiece, saving you valuable time during your joining work. These bits are also ideal for creating grooves, rabbets and slots for T-moulding. This versatile set features a slot cutting diameter of 51mm and a selection of the following widths: 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm. This slot cutting set also comes complete with bearing and spacers, allowing you to arrange the cutters to create perfectly matching tongue and groove joints.

This slot cutter set is a joy to work with, easily cuts through wood like butter and the blades you can tell are top quality compared to sets I have had in the past. A must buy!

This set makes slot cutting a breeze... Much easier than using a table saw for grooves. Have used these on oak which they pass through like butter.
My only comment for improvement would be a set of instructions to explain whether or not the cutter blades can be stacked.
