This router bit tray is designed for the storage and display of 1/4" and 1/2" shank router bits. The high density foam has a series of 110 holes spaced to prevent damage to the TCT cutting edges of the bits.
The hole fit is tight to ensure router bits remain vertical and to ensure the holes do not become enlarged over time. The 300mm square steel frame surrounds and compresses the foam in position. Measuring 38mm in thickness the high density foam securely grips the largest of cutters without the risk of movement. The open design of the tray ensures that the router bits are clearly visible for fast bit selection. For router bit protection and fast, simple bit selection this tray is an excellent choice. ©

Very well made piece of kit and incredibly useful, wonder how I got by without it!

I was forever losing my router bits or misplacing them in my workshop. My wife actually got me this for Christmas and it has proved to be one of the best presents. I can store both 1/4" and 1/2" shank bits, now just need to order more bits to fill all 110 storage holes

That said, my 1/4 inch bits do tend to greatly outnumber their 1/2 inch cousins so I just wish there could have been more of the smaller sized holes and perhaps fewer of the larger. Maybe something for Rutlands to consider asking for when sourcing version 2?
