The edge and mortice guide is designed for use with plunge or fixed base routers to create perfect mortices, rebates, dadoes and for edge finishing. It consists of three elements: a turnlock base, offset base plate and an edge guide. The base plate is made from a tough polycarbonate, has a large surface and is clear for workpiece visibility.
When used with the offset base it becomes ideal for narrow boards, routing edges, and edge profiles. The offset base features an oversized handle which is easy to grip providing superior control of the router.
Included are two non-marring morticing pins for cutting mortises in varying board thicknesses. When used with the edge guide it can be used for many projects that require dado cuts, grooves and rebates and has 125mm of fence travel. Fantastic for routing out slots for fitting mortice locks. Fitted mine to mu old ELU MOF96E. Best router ever made.

I had to route a 6mm wide groove in six sheets of MDF and this jig made the job so much easier. I used my Makita 3612c router and it fitted straight on. Much more supportive that the standard fence supplied with my Makita. Great product.
