A rough sketch on a large piece of scrap wood and plenty of fine tuning before the template is ready adds time, and sometimes money too, on to your work. This flexible curve will save you plenty of time and money. Featuring 14 independently adjustable, interlinked clamps, this 1700mm long flexible template can be fixed in any shape, curve or multiple curves to suit the required project. As it is capable of holding its own shape, there is no need for it to be pinned to the wood, eliminating the damage associated with rubber and plastic flexible curve templates.

Nice piece of kit, ideal for custom table tops. CAUTION sprung steel can nip your fingers. Bend to shape, tighten adjustable brackets to lock the shape. Secure in position then walk the router round to confirm the cut line. Good for tasks that are too big for the CNC router table.

I use this jig in two ways. I use it to copy an existing pattern and I use it to create a new pattern. It is very well made and when you lock it off tightly there is no movement. If you don't fully tighten each knob it can go out of line if you haven't clamped it down. I have used it with my router on a couple of occasions having made sure that it was securely screwed down first. I then ran the router against the curve without power to check that there was no movement. It's one of those tools that is invaluable for some projects.
