Product Details
Simply cover the first four threads of the screw with the wax and drive the screw as you normally would, and you will see a noticeable difference to the amount of time and effort that is required to drive the screw deep into the workpiece without any risk of the wood splitting. Using screw wax prevents stripped screw heads and it will also extend the battery life of your drill as the screws are so much easier to drive with the addition of the wax. Driving screws that have been coated with the wax requires less torque, which is useful for when driving screws by hand using a screwdriver.
The wax is easily administered to your screws as it does not flake, it holds itself to the screws with excellent adhesion. It has been designed to not corrode the screw or discolour your workpiece, which is common with other screw lubricants. The 100g tin will coat up to 1,200 screws that will be able to be driven into both hardwoods and softwoods without difficulty. ©

This Screw Wax is wonderful stuff. A quick dab on the end of the screw and its home before you know it.

Im a newbie woodworker and was struggling with putting screws into an oak bookcase Ive been making. A woodworking pal recommended that I try this screw wax as it would make it easier to insert the screws. I wasnt convinced but he lent me his tin and I couldnt believe what a difference it made. The screws went in with no bother and not much effort. Ive got my own tin now and wouldnt be without it.
