Product Details
Multi function tables with their gridwork of holes have become established as an essential workshop item around the world. Cheaper than a single Festool replacement MFT worktop, this new jig will save you money by equipping you to create unlimited replacement worktops. Using the jig could not be simpler - place your 30mm guide bush in the jig holes and plunge with a 20mm diameter router bit to accurately create your gridwork of holes. You can design and create worktops of any size and customise to your own needs by using the jig handle aperture to create multiple pockets and handles on your table.
This premium worktop jig is engineered from solid grade, high-performance premium phenolic known for its exceptional strength, stability and warp resistance - as well as being totally water and liquid resistant. Budget jigs made from laminated composite can warp and lose stability due to moisture absorption and temperature change leading to inaccurate cuts. The extremely durable, anti-friction phenolic allows your router to glide smoothly through the cut without snagging. Inferior jigs made from less durable composite material can wear over time leading to imperfections in the surface and inaccurate cuts.
Precision CNC machine cut with +/- 0.02mm accuracy it will ensure you achieve precise results. The jig is supplied with 4 ABS aligning pins and 3 ABS indexing pins allowing quick, easy and precise alignment for routing your gridwork of 20mm holes at 96mm centres for use with regular 20mm bench dogs. Options of two corner radii of 50mm and 100mm and a 45° end cut will ensure a professional finish to your worktop.
Laser-engraved labels on the jig surface allow for quick setup and ease of use. The engravings are cut into the phenolic surface meaning they will not wear under constant friction from the router - providing long lasting clarity. A comprehensive user manual is also included. To use this jig you will need 1/2" hand router, 30mm guide bush, router bit (diameter: 20mm, height: 31.8mm - straight with end cutting) and clamps.

With the popularity of the MFT table system increasing daily I ordered this jig to make my own. Many jigs and bench dogs are now only available in 20mm diameters which this jig accommodates. Overall a great purchase and will save me loads in the long run as I can now make my table tops instead of routing them.
