Product Details
This premium worktop jig is engineered from solid grade, high-performance premium phenolic known for its exceptional strength, stability and warp resistance - as well as being totally water and liquid resistant. Budget jigs made from laminated composite can warp and lose stability due to moisture absorption and temperature change leading to inaccurate cuts and joints. The extremely durable, anti-friction phenolic allows your router to glide smoothly through the cut without snagging. Inferior jigs made from less durable composite material can wear over time leading to imperfections in the surface and inaccurate cuts and joints.
This premium jig is ideal for routing a range of curved apertures and radii for creating curved worktops and fitting curved cabinets. Precision CNC machine cut with +/- 0.02mm accuracy it will ensure you achieve precise curves every time. With six radii options (250mm, 150mm, 100mm, 80mm, 60mm, 40mm) suitable for both internal and external cuts this jig is perfect for both kitchen worktops as well as furniture and cabinet radius cut applications. In addition this jig enables straight cuts up to 820mm, square cuts, 26mm & 35mm hinge recesses and the corners allow for 150mm, 100mm, 50mm external radii and 45° precise end cuts.
This radius & aperture jig complements the Rutlands premium phenolic worktop jig perfectly. Laser-engraved essential instructions and diagrams on the jig surface allow for very quick setup and ease of use. The engravings are cut into the phenolic surface meaning they will not wear under constant friction from the router - providing long lasting clarity. A comprehensive user manual is also included alongside four 10mm precision fit ABS aligning pins. To use this jig you will need a 1/2" hand router, router bit (diameter: 12.7mm, height: 50.8mm), 30mm guide bush and clamps.

S Stround
Very well made and finished jig. It's heavy but very solid with no bowing at all.
Tim Skinner
Previously bought a jig made from MDF from a well known retailer at a very good price. Left it in the back of my van fro a couple of days and it swelled around the edges. Retailer would not give me my money back so i had to bin it. Paid a lot more for this one but the quality is in a different league. Very heavy and well finished - should last me out
