This premium performance Rutlands® router table features the R5016 benchtop router table, R5075 router lift and R5018 router lift motor.
Premium Bench Top Router Table R5016
This premium bench top router table is compact in size without compromising on performance, making it ideal for use in a professional workshop with limited space. The legs and braces on this router table stand are made from 35mm tubular steel for guaranteed strength and rigidity.
The 600mm by 400mm table top ensures excellent workpiece support and is laminated on both faces with a low friction, premium-grade phenolic, which is highly wear resistant. The 2mm phenolic laminate is sandwiched around a 30mm solid moisture-resistant composite core which prevents the absorption of atmospheric moisture, eliminating the risk of warping or distortion of the table surface when working in cold or damp workshops. Set into the top is a 19mm extruded aluminium T track for use with mitre gauges, featherboards, stops and home made jigs.
The router table fence is precision CNC machined from aircraft-grade aluminium with a black anodized finish. On the top face of the fence is a metric scale and a 8.3mm T Track for use with Rutlands® flip stops and on the front face there is another 8.3mm T Track for mounting Rutlands® feather boards and the height adjustable router bit guard. The two sub-fences are made from a solid composite with a low friction, phenolic laminate surface to ensure smooth movement of the workpiece. The fences can be adjusted, tool free, to accommodate any router bit from 10mm to 125mm in diameter and the outfeed sub-fence can be off-set to allow for edge planning. With 125mm of travel, the position of the fence is adjusted quickly and easily with no tools required, simply by turning the two tall, easily accessible knobs.

The height adjustment is controlled from above the table by inserting and rotating the removable crank handle, making adjustment fast, simple and extremely precise. The lift positions the router collet above the table surface when fully raised to allow for easy access and quick bit changes. The main drive spindle is precision CNC machined and features a fine pitch thread that allows you to tune-in the height of the router bit to a resolution of 0.025mm. Once the router bit is set to the cutting height, a special spindle-locking mechanism prevents the height setting from changing due to vibration. The carriage of the lift travels on two steel guide posts, that are housed within double-sealed linear bearings to resist dust infiltration resulting in an ultra smooth rise and fall movement, with no side play. To vary the size of the bit aperture the lift is supplied with three polycarbonate flush insert rings with centre holes of 10mm, 32mm and 50mm. It features a torque control system that prevents the motor from slowing under load, ensuring that the rotational speed remains constant, no matter what diameter of router bit you are using or how hard the wood, resulting in a superior workpiece finish. A variable speed control dial, conveniently positioned on the bottom of the motor for easy-reach, allows you to select speeds from 10,000 to 22,000 rpm. With soft start technology, the router motor gradually increases the speed from zero to the desired level for a safer, more enjoyable routing experience. An air cool system ensures a constant flow of fresh air to prevent the risk of the motor overheating, when installed in the Rutlands® dust box or in a close-sided router table. Great bit of kit, but nearly returned while assembling as brought as a complete kit along with lift and motor only to find that the table was fitted with corner fixings designed for a different method of levelling adjustment than the lift, irritating but posable to sort out. Not used yet as need extractor adaptors but very happy.

Excellent set up. I ordered the complete package and am very impressed with the build quality. This is as good as a spindle moulder. Motor is very powerful and suprisingly quieter than most of my hand held routers.

Delighted just begins to describe my reaction when it was removed from the packaging. I was looking to upgrade from a lightweight table only suitable for a 1/4" router and searched high and low before finding this table.
Strong, sturdy and robust enough to tackle any job but light enough to move around with ease.
It sits nicely back out of the way for small projects but (as it sits on a bench with wheels it easily pulls out) when
combined with a pair of roller stands handles the big jobs with ease.
A must for either trade or DIY where you are tackling both large and small projects.

this motor is a beast, so powerful when you need it, came with 2 collets which is useful been using it for some long sessions and its been brill

This table has given much more confidence when routing. I prefer to pass the wood through the cutter rather than the cutter through the wood. Great buy.

Just finished assembly of the R15 Router Lift and Motor. Overall my first impressions are very positive. Build quality appears very good.
Lift was delivered in very sturdy packaging. After about 20 minutes i had the router and lift dropped into my router table. I particularly like that they included a flush trim bit to help build your own router table for this lift to drop into.
I am unable to speak to how this lift and motor will hold up over time but my initial few few cuts with the machine were very smooth.
I only have 2 small gripes about this lift and motor. The first is that the zero clearance insert rings are pressed into the plate instead of attached via a bayonet fitting. This means that you will need to reach underneath the table to change out the insert ring. This is only a minor inconvenience but you may want to factor this in if you are building your own table.
Secondly, and this is even a smaller gripe but i would prefer if the router motor wasn't all black. As the speed control is on the head of the motor it can be hard to find if enclosed in a cabinet below your table. I may end up painting the speed control dial to make it easier to locate.
I don't think either of the above issues warrants removal of a star. This is definitely the best router lift i have ever owned

I am very please with this table and lift. Looks good, feels good and works very well. Set up time has reduced significantly as you no longer have to fumble underneath the table to make height adjustments and you can change cutters over in seconds. You just drop in the handle and rotate to set the bit height. Table surface area is big enough for my needs and the fence adjustment is made very easy as the two rear knobs stand proud of the fence. Motor is really powerful and when you move the dial to change the speed it is so smooth. 10 out of 10.
