Product Details

This premium performance Rutlands« router table features the R5016 benchtop router table, R5063 electronic router lift and R5018 router lift motor.

Premium Bench Top Router Table R5016
This premium bench top router table is compact in size without compromising on performance, making it ideal for use in a professional workshop with limited space. The legs and braces on this router table stand are made from 35mm tubular steel for guaranteed strength and rigidity.

The 600mm by 400mm table top ensures excellent workpiece support and is laminated on both faces with a low friction, premium-grade phenolic, which is highly wear resistant. The 2mm phenolic laminate is sandwiched around a 30mm solid moisture-resistant composite core which prevents the absorption of atmospheric moisture, eliminating the risk of warping or distortion of the table surface when working in cold or damp workshops. Set into the top is a 19mm extruded aluminium T track for use with mitre gauges, featherboards, stops and home made jigs.

The router table fence is precision CNC machined from aircraft-grade aluminium with a black anodized finish. On the top face of the fence is a metric scale and a 8.3mm T Track for use with Rutlands« flip stops and on the front face there is another 8.3mm T Track for mounting Rutlands« feather boards and the height adjustable router bit guard. The two sub-fences are made from a solid composite with a low friction, phenolic laminate surface to ensure smooth movement of the workpiece. The fences can be adjusted, tool free, to accommodate any router bit from 10mm to 125mm in diameter and the outfeed sub-fence can be off-set to allow for edge planning. With 125mm of travel, the position of the fence is adjusted quickly and easily with no tools required, simply by turning the two tall, easily accessible knobs.

Premium Electronic Router Lift - R20 R5063
This electronic router lift significantly reduces set up time and ensures pin point accuracy when table routing. The rise and fall is operated by the digital control box which features an LED display. You simply press the start button on the control box and then select either metric or imperial graduations. Metric settings are displayed in 0.1mm increments and imperial settings in 0.001" increments. There are two operating modes, the first method is by pressing and holding the up or down button on the key pad until you reach your desired height. The second method is to raise or lower the lift by a specific increment by entering into the keypad the amount of height adjustment required. You can re-set to zero at any height. The lift will automatically lock in position after setting the cutting height, eliminating the risk of unwanted travel during routing. The carriage and threaded arms of the lift are CNC machined and feature sealed-for-life bearings to allow for smooth movement of the router motor. The motor clamping bracket accepts the Rutlands« variable speed router motor. The 10mm anodized aluminium plate has a 100mm opening to accept insert rings and can be levelled flush to a table top via a series of adjustment screws.

Premium Router Lift Motor R5018
This powerful, 2400w variable speed motor premium performance motor is designed and engineered specifically for use with router lifts and uses the latest electronic technology. It features a torque control system that prevents the motor from slowing under load, ensuring that the rotational speed remains constant, no matter what diameter of router bit you are using or how hard the wood, resulting in a superior workpiece finish. A variable speed control dial, conveniently positioned on the bottom of the motor for easy-reach, allows you to select speeds from 10,000 to 22,000 rpm. With soft start technology, the router motor gradually increases the speed from zero to the desired level for a safer, more enjoyable routing experience. An air cool system ensures a constant flow of fresh air to prevent the risk of the motor overheating, when installed in the Rutlands« dust box or in a close-sided router table. The dust protection system prevents dust from causing damage to the motor to ensure a long trouble-free life and the precision machined spindle bearings are guaranteed for ultra smooth, vibration free rotation. The two ER collets 1/4" and 1/2" are precision machined to ensure perfect balance and concentricity and the large off-set wrenches allow for fast bit change over. Optional 6mm, 8mm and 12mm metric collets are readily available.

Delighted just begins to describe my reaction when it was removed from the packaging. I was looking to upgrade from a lightweight table only suitable for a 1/4" router and searched high and low before finding this table.
Strong, sturdy and robust enough to tackle any job but light enough to move around with ease.
It sits nicely back out of the way for small projects but (as it sits on a bench with wheels it easily pulls out) when
combined with a pair of roller stands handles the big jobs with ease.
A must for either trade or DIY where you are tackling both large and small projects.

first class piece of equipment very easy to assemble and I feel like it should last me many years, was packaged well and delivered quick too, would definitely recommend

This table has given much more confidence when routing. I prefer to pass the wood through the cutter rather than the cutter through the wood. Great buy.

I toyed with ordering the electronic lift for a couple of days trying to justify to myself if I could warrant such a tool. I took the plunge and received delivery a couple of days ago. I have a Jessem table with router lift that you raise and lower by a side handwheel. I removed my old lift and replace it with my new electronic version. The table opening size was the same, so the fit was simple. I'm assuming that router table insert sizes are becoming standard now - at last. I attached the control box to the stand and positioned it at a slight angle so I could clearly see the keypad. I switched the control box on, pressed and held the up button and the lift smoothly raised itself with a quiet purring sound. There is a dedicated motor built into the lift that rotates via a drive belt, a nut on the main threaded spindle. As the nut rotates the carriage of the lift moves up and down. It's extremely precise and you can stop the movement instantaneously by releasing your finger form the key pad. After playing with the lift for a couple of hours to get a clear understanding of its operations I set to work on my first project. I needed to run a 12mm wide groove in tulip wood to a depth of 8.5mm. I set the control box to zero when the top of my router bit was flush with the router table and then keyed in 8.5mm to the control box. I pressed enter and the bit rose by 8.5mm. I made my first pass and then measured using a digital depth gauge the routed groove and it was precisely 8.5mm deep all the way along. I justified my purchase that very moment. An excellent piece of equipment that I will highly recommend to anyone.
