Easy to assemble, don't bother with the instructions, they're not required. Excellently manufactured, sturdy parts. So pleased I bought this as the router is now at a perfect height for me to work at safely.

While the instructions might better resemble the 'Turin Shroud' (I can only assume Rutlands believe the assembly as being completely straight forward, which it is) I found the parts to be well made, well cut and precisely engineered. Great table, I was not expecting to find hold down feet as an option, but as they are I have fixed the table down to a ply board on lockable castors.

Excellent service, value for money and delivery as usual with Rutlands!!!!
Poor instructions!!!
I had some difficulty with fixing some of the corner panels
to the shelves, could have been better fitting!!!
I still have 4 small pieces left over and no bolts even if I knew where to put them!!!
Overall a good buy!!!

As per other reviews, poor instructions, but it was easy enough to assemble and supports the router table extremely well, very solid and stable with the rubber feet.

I recently purchased this Workstand for the router table, which I had been using in my small workshop. After moving to my new large workshop I have space now for a permanent router station.
The workstand is very solid when assembled, but you have to be careful how you do that as the shape of the sides are slightly different. There are no instruction to speak of except a sheet of paper to look at with very poor photos of the assembly process. If you spend some time and lots of patience you'll be fine.
Great value for money and does the job well.

An adequate, sturdy and cost effective support for the powered router table. The corner supports are a poor fit for the trays but they do the job. With the powered router table mounted some reinforcement is necessary if castors(not supplied)are fitted.

I agree with the the other reviews.Poor instructions but can be worked out. Works well with the powered table router. I had to beef up the legs as they were too flimsy to take castors without buckling.

Instructions are more than a little vague, essentially, "put it together"! Fortunately, it's not at all complicated. Consists of sheet steel pressings-3 shelves, 4 legs and 2 sets of 4 feet with a bag each of machine screws, washers and nyloc nuts. Took about 30-40 minutes to assemble and seems fairly sturdy. Requires a philips screwdriver, an 8mm spanner, nimble fingers and patience.
Looking at the picture, I had the impression that the shelves were made of mdf or similar but it is all sheet steel.
All in all, I am pleased with it, although I'll be bolting it to a mobile base so I can move it out of the way when I've finished working with it.

I bought the matching table router a month ago, it's still in the box atm, I've been busy with other stuff.
I decided I ought to buy the stand to go with it while it's available, that'll keep the bench area free.
I agree with the other reviews here, the steel panels are cut very accurately and putting the unit together, although tedious with so many fixings (60), was no problem. They're 5mm Phillips 2 screw-head with 8mm Nyloc and washer, some of these were soft & have stripped so I've ordered up some Stainless flanged hex replacements. I started with a ratchet spanner but found a long-reach socket & extension bar (1/4") was an easier solution.
FYI: 1 of the 3 shelves has "Rutlands" painted on it, which I only discovered after fixing the legs the the top shelf upside down on the floor, I couldn't be assed with re-doing the 16 screws so the logo is on the middle shelf now.
The stand comes with 2 sets of feet, Bolt-down and rubber pads, although I'm not sure the longevity of the latter. I think I might try some of those lifting caster/pad types to be able to move and level it more easily, although I see someone says it needs beefing up for those.
Instructions:
1 photocopied sheet of paper with photos in black & white from a photocopier with no ink, is an utter waste of resources! A QR code to a website address or a video would have been a better idea, although construction is pretty much common sense.
The shelves arrived slightly dented on 1 end, due to the insufficient packing support inside the box, but it's not horrendous so I let that go.
Overall I'm happy with it thus far, apart from the cheap fixings, I suppose I should unpack the router table now to go with it lol :-D
Have Fun! :-)
