This premium table saw fence system is designed for woodworkers who want to make their own table saw or for enlarging the surface area of an existing saw. The main fence is 1000mm long by 75mm high and manufactured from hardened aluminium extrusion, which is ribbed to minimise friction. The top of the fence has both a 19mm and an 8.3mm T track running its full length for fitting optional jigs and stops. Alternatively you can fit the supplied 690mm aluminium track for use with optional feather boards.
The fence glides back and forth on two 940mm lengths of T track, that you flush mount into the bed of your saw. One length features a metric scale, running from 0 to 750mm in 1mm increments. The bracket that adjoins the rear of the fence to the T track is mounted to a 300mm slider bar which glides back and forth in the track. This slider bar features three cam-adjustment screws to allow you to remove any play, to ensure precise, controlled movement.
The fence bracket features an adjustable scale pointer for setting exact measurements and is locked off using two knurled brass dials. Been very happy with the fence, the only issue is the parallel movement it not the best as you have to clamp either side independently so set up each time you move the fence can be time consuming.

This product plus many others i have purchased from Rutland have been built of quality components. I have built this fence into my Workbench, once i had set everything up and run some scrap timber through the fence i was 100% amazed how accurate it actually is but i did not think it wouldn't be.

Like the previous reviewer, the fence is really very good and as you would expect, you have to figure out how you are going to square everything on the table. The fence is very adjustable for fine tuning. My table saw is bosch 10" site saw sitting in a workbench. The Bosch fence and mitre gauge were only suitable for basic framing accuracy. The Rutland's fence is very accurate, slides well, stays square along length and can easily be customised. The fence is huge but its easy enough to cut down as required. The whole system slides on standard mitre tracks. I'll adapt is for my router table., so even better value for money.

A great fence kit that has proved a great addition to my table saw. It took a bit of time to install to make sure everything was set up 100% correctly, but it was worth the time spent. The components of the fence are amazing quality, way better than cobbling something together yourself, they all fit together perfectly and it is so smooth to use.

As part of my order the feather board too was easy to set up. Both the premium Table Saw Fence and their own feather board, are made of top quality materials. To say I am super impressed is an understatement, would I recommend Rutlands? Too right I will. Now saving the shekels for my next purchase from these guys.
