MiterSet Segments is a mitre gauge jig designed to quickly and easily set your mitre gauge to precise angles for cutting perfect wood segments for multi-sided objects. MiterSet Segments sets your mitre gauge to cut up to 20 perfect segments for your glue-up project. It consists of a laser-etched, anodised aluminium plate bisected by a mitre gauge slot and features hole patterns for left and right angles which are set using two tapered pins.
The numbers on the left and right plate sectors represents the number of segments that you wish to cut for your wood project. Slide your mitre gauge into the mitre slot, then place one pin at the zero position and the other pin in the hole next to the number of segments you wish to cut. Slide your mitre gauge up to the pins and lock it down. The precise angle is automatically transferred to your mitre gauge.
The body is CNC milled from a solid aluminium billet, and hole placement is accurate to 0.025mm. The hole numbers are laser-etched for years of readability. A 2mm thick neoprene rubber backer keeps the MiterSet firmly on a flat surface for easy use. Made in the USA this product fits all standard mitre gauges that require a 19mm mitre slot.
