Very effective at flattening my waterstones. It has a course side for initial flattening and then a finer side for a smoother finish.

This product has enabled me to flatten off my precious water stones back to their original state of flatness. The process is very easy and is quickly done without great physical effort needed at all. I was extremely impressed by the rapid ease of use and the high quality finished results. Overall, an excellent idea and an excellent quality product. I do think the spirit level is an unnecessary feature though.

So good, this really helps me level my stones because it has a built in level. I like it because when i am on an uneven work surface I know if its level even if my bench isnt level. All you need to do is hold it level and more it around to level it off level.

I purchased this stone alongside the set of 3 waterstones. When the waterstones had started to wear down they weren't producing results like they should. The flattening stone soon sorted this problem and left a perfectly flat surface on the stones to sharpen my chisels with.
