These 50mm diameter screw chucks are precision CNC machined from tool steel to an accuracy of +/- 0.01mm to ensure perfect balance and chatter-free turning. They come supplied with three steel screws: 8mm, 10mm and 12mm in diameter, each with a 25mm deep thread, to ensure a secure hold on hard, soft and green wood blanks. In addition to the centre screw, there are four countersunk holes for securing heavy and un-balanced blanks or for use as a small faceplate. The face of the screw chucks are fractionally back tapered and recessed to allow for the blank to locate rigidly in position.
