These large capacity F clamps will prove invaluable in the workshop when you need to reach areas that are inaccessible to standard clamps, they are perfect for clamping deep onto a workpiece. The jaws of these clamps are made from malleable cast iron, meaning they have high tensile strength and can flex without breaking while still exerting the clamping force required. The large clamping force can be exerted without damaging your workpiece and no-mar pads are included for added protection. The bar has serrated edges on 6 faces to maximise contact with the sliding jaw to prevent it from slipping. The fast action acme thread is precision machined to enable smooth, fast clamping when needed. The traditional wooden handle has been designed to enable extra grip and prevent your hand slipping when tightening. The bar is fully galvanized, and the jaws are epoxy powder coated to prevent corrosion and increase the working life of the clamp.

In the past I've usually purchased Bessey clamps. These are equal in quality and at a much lower cost.
10 clamps should see me through most jobs (alongside my other clamps) so I probably wouldn't purchase this particular size of F clamp, but I will definitely be purchasing more top quality clamps and other products from Rutlands.

I've had 12 of these clamps for nearly 2 years now. They are superb and have given me excellent service. I just wanted to add that one of my clamps became defectives I pressed to test the lifetime warranty. I had a reply from customer services within a few minutes of my request, was provided with a few return label and sent the clamp back. Received my brand new replacement after a few days. Excellent!! Excellent clamps. I agonised over these and the ductile version, which is £20 more expensive. I believe the ductile ones 'stretch' more when clamping thus remain tighter. However, for what I was working on I didn't need any 'stretch'. These are very good indeed. The plastic protectors are attached securely and don't slip. The rachet is smooth and works really well and then the final tightening is precise and rock solid. I can't fault them at all. The price also is very good indeed for this size of clamp. They are also the deepest throat I could find on any similar size clamp. Brilliant!

Not sure what knock offs I was using before but they were awful, constantly slipping and the little protective feet always used to fall off and inevitably get lost - these are definitely what I consider an upgrade, just need to build a clamp rack now

I already have the smaller version of these and theyve been my go to clamps but I have on occasion found myself needing that extra bit of reach, so I ordered these and the quality remains consistent, I've not had any issues with marking on the wood as the pads do a good job of protecting it even when you increase the pressure
