Product Details
One handed bar clamps are the perfect clamps to use when working alone or working overhead. They are ideal when you only have one hand free and need to secure your work piece. Each clamp can exert up to 1500N of force which can be transferred using just one hand. The patented pump lever mechanism is extremely easy to use and once secure is guaranteed not to slip and ruin the joints of your project. These are very high quality clamps and the finest bar clamps we have offered to date.
The main bar is made of a single piece of 19mm x 6mm I profiled carbon steel which prevents flexing when clamping and maximises strength and durability. The jaw pads are made of thermoplastic rubber for grip, and have fractional allowance meaning even slightly irregular work can be clamped securely. Thermoplastic rubber has properties of both plastic and rubber ensuring excellent abrasion resistance, comfort, tear strength and weather resistance. The moulded handles can comfortably be used to apply the clamping force to your workpiece. The reinforced composite plastic jaws will not deform when clamping and can quickly be reversed for spreading actions. A quick release trigger on the rear handle makes disengaging the clamp a simple task.

Superb one handed clamps, lightweight, strong and capable. They are easy to use and exert a good pressure to the work piece without marking the wood. An excellent product and would recommend them any woodworker who needs one handed clamps

These are the best One Hand Bar Clamps I have ever used.
I do not remember how far back the One Hand Bar Clamps first came onto the market and they seemed a game changer, at the time, for ease of use. Disappointment though has been their constant companion having broken and bent more than I care to remember.
These Rutland clamps seem pretty much indestructible in normal use and are incredible value for money.

My favourite type of clamp I have these in several styles and guises but these Rutlands ones are particularly good value for money. Seem a lot sturdier and well built compared to the ones on offer in the well known DIY stores.
