These quick lever clamps allow you to quickly apply the maximum force of 2000N to your workpiece thanks to the zinc alloy ratchet mechanism, eliminating the need to crank a handle like with traditional clamps. The ratchet mechanism is resistant to vibrations meaning the clamps will maintain their clamping pressure even if your work is vibrating heavily, making them perfect for many jobs such as drilling or sawing. The handle has been ergonomically designed to enable a secure hold when tightening or releasing the clamp and is fitted with a quick release button to instantly disengage the clamp.
The main bar is made of a single piece of 16mm x 8mm I profiled steel that prevents the bar from flexing when clamping and maximises strength and durability. The bar and sliding arm are fully galvanized to prevent corrosion and increase the working life of the clamp. These clamps have a clamping capacity of 300mm and throat depth of 80mm.

As i have found with all the Rutlands tools, they are designed and built to last forever. These clamps are ideal for getting a quick strong hold on your workpiece, the only niggle is they could be that bit bigger. It is hard to judge from the photos but you would expect them to be more of a standard clamp size, these would be just under. Having said that, they are excellent and great value.

These clamps are incredibly handy. I was about to order another set, but they are out of stock. This would be my third order for these clamps. They give a great amount of pressure for very little effort. I use them all the time.

A bit of research led me to these lever clamps. I was slightly hesitant but wow they work really well. They are super strong, quick to clamp/unclamp and very well made to the usual rutlands high standard.
