This clamp cutting guide is perfect for accurately cutting straight lines when using routers, saws or jigsaws. The guide can be clamped onto the workpiece with one hand and is guaranteed to be straight - no more using clamps and a straight edge to guide your power tool. Because the guide is clamped from below the workpiece there will be no obstructions above, and the high clamping strength means that the clamp will not move during use. There are three increasing clamping pressures which allows you to make small adjustments before firmly locking the clamp to your workpiece.
Made from heavy gauge extruded aluminium the guide will have maximum durability but is also very light and easily manoeuvrable. A light but firm, easy to use fence. If you can afford it, get a long one and a shorter one. The long one is great for larger panels up to 1200mm but a bit unwieldy for smaller jobs of say 500mm.

I got the extra wide clamp as a guide for my router table, (i also got the router kit from Rutlands,) as i can't afford the fence at the moment and the clamps were on offer. They are amazing very easy to use and having ordered the 1250 they are able to span the large sheets that i have been using, i would really recommend adding these to your workshop or shed.

These clamp guides are great for doing quick straight cuts. I don't take my circular saw anywhere without them. Just need to pick up the 600 to complete the set.

Very satisfied with this, easy to operate and well constructed. Just one constructive suggestion - the metal ends of the guide were quite sharp. Even if finished, they could easy scratch a finished piece of work. A plastic cap on each end wouldn't add much to build cost, but could easily prevent that.
