This door lifter allows you to control a door with your foot whilst leaving both hands free to do the fixing. The rubber padded no mar toe of the door lifter slides underneath the door and by exerting pressure on the round foot pedal the door will raise or lower accordingly. Manufactured from hardened steel pressings the door lifter will raise both traditional and fire doors up to 60mm high with a maximum weight of 120kg. The door lifter will swivel around on its base to aid in positioning when lining up a door to fix into its frame.
The round base of the lifter has a non marring rubber pad to prevent damage to wooden or tiled floor surfaces. The lifter is 300mm long and its construction from hardened steel pressings ensures it is durable and long lasting. Great for holding fire doors in place. You can line up the hinge holes perfectly using your foot and leaving both hands free.

Have had one of these for some time and recently put it to use. Frustratingly the door kept slipping off, as the 'L' was slightly canted forward, however a simple improvement is to glue a piece of heavyweight sandpaper to the base of the 'L' - problem solved.
