This unique clamp exerts equal pressure in four directions; up, down, right and left. It is therefore ideal for gluing and clamping shelves, cabinet doors, table tops, laminates and veneers and many other projects. As this clamp exerts even pressure across the work, there is minimal chance of it warping or mis-aligning during clamping which may happen when using bar clamps to construct panels from multiple boards.
Easy to make and use, you simply attach the clamps to any length of 38mm by 38mm timber with the hardware provided, position the turn handle mechanism and rotate to exert pressure on the inserted work piece. Maximum work piece thickness is 32mm. This is an excellent clamping system that will save valuable time and money.

Excellent value clamps. Well worth a dry run through to save yourself some stress as the placement of each piece is important. Easy enough once you get the hang of it though.

I bought a pair of these some months ago, and found them fairly straight forward to use. While I was trying to get the right sized wood to use as the bars, I decided to try a couple of square steel tubes I had in the garage, luckily these were 38mm x 38mm, I used this set in one and wood in the other.
Although they both did exactly the same job, I found that the steel tubes were much lighter than the wood I was using, so I ordered another set of identical steel tubes for the second clamp.
I've just ordered two more of these clamps for a large project I have - and 2 sets of steel tubes.
I would definitely recommend these clamps.

Bought mainly for panel door and kitchen cupboards etc, and they work very well, very simple to use just follow the guide and you can knock this up in 5-10 mins, guide + 18" but you can go well beyond that, just use a couple of g-clamps etc in the middle to support the work, very good, they could upscale these for bigger jobs? I am making a wardrobe out of 150mm wide x 15mm thick tongue and grooved oak and needed a method of clamping the back boards rigidly together after applying the glue. The wardrobe has a total of 2 doors, 2 side and 1 back panel so I bought 6 of these clamps. After trial and error setting the first one up, I quickly assembled the rest. They are superb, as the steel work is very heavy duty and you never feel like you are straining the clamps. When I released the clamps the panels remained rock solid and the amount of glue that had seeped out from the joints showed how much pressure had been exerted. Excellent.

Bought 4 to primarily glue boards together. They just take a little getting used to but they work!! As always a dry run first and to help, put offcuts a little thicker than the boards to keep the wood bars apart, then pop them out for the glue up. Much better than umpteen clamps I once used.

I now have four of these clamps and must say that I'm really impressed. As they use 2x2 timber for the clamp bars, you can make whatever length clamp you need. Basically, I've replaced most of my other clamps with these. If you do a lot of jointing work, these are definitely worth a look.

These clamps are excellent. I wasn't sure whether they would perform and give me the clamping pressure I needed but I had a trial run with them and I was amazed at the result. The board was perfect with no signs of warping or cupping.
