These spring edge band clamps are used to clamp edge mouldings by combining the easy application of a spring clamp with the even pressure of a rubber band. Simply apply the clamp over the edging material, the firm hold of the jaws will hold the clamp in place, ensuring the clamping force is directed inwards towards the workpiece by the rubber band. If more lateral clamping force is needed, then the clamp is placed further into the workpiece to stretch the rubber band.
The rubber band is made from virtually tear proof material that will hold its elasticity over time. The clamp body is made from glass fibre reinforced polypropylene making the clamps lightweight but also very durable they will not break during application. The large, pivoting jaws mean the clamps can be used with angled material as well as thicker stock and the non marring pads will be in full contact with the workpiece to give a firm hold. The high carbon grade steel spring provides a strong clamping force, which will remain constant over time. The components of the clamp are all made of material that dried glue will easily flake or peel right off. This clamp has a capacity of 70mm, throat depth of 60mm and produces an impressive 200N of clamping force. Wow purchased to do one job which I was struggling to do without using brads and I didn't want the brad holes or the miss looking wood filler , never used these clamps before , wow superb clamping force even over stretched and did not move , can't reccomend these enough , brilliant value fir money as well , bonus

Excellent. Even better than expected. At this price, I did wonder if they would be good quality. Very pleasantly surprised by the material and build quality of these clamps. They are very powerful and require a fair amount of grip strength to open which is good as this transfers to impressive clamping strength on workpiece. The robust rubber band helps by placing force in another direction and helps with overall alignment. Very highly recommended. I dont believe you can buy better at this price.

Very easy to use and with so many uses. The rubber pads give a firm grip on any material which allows the rubber band to give solid sideways clamping pressure. I told my local Men's shed about these and they have already purchased some.
