These cost-saving pad savers extend the life of a sander's backing pad, protecting against wear during aggressive sanding or when working with net abrasives. Sitting between the abrasive and the backing pad, they form a sacrificial barrier through a secure hook and loop attachment. Once worn, simply peel off the pad saver and discard.
