Portable Joinery Workbench

Delivering the same high build quality and performance as our full sized stationary workbench, this space saving portable joinery workbench can be mounted to any table or worktop, providing assured workholding wherever its required.

Constructed from solid, kiln dried German beech throughout, the 30mm thick block laminated top provides a flat, warp resistant surface perfect for planing, carving, sanding or any other general woodworking task. Along the length of the 360 x 410mm top runs 4 double rows of 19mm dog holes, for use with the supplied steel bench dogs, and compatible with a wide range of industry standard hold-downs, stops and clamps.

At the front of the workbench sits a 360mm wide vice with a generous 140mm clamping capacity. Running on a precision machined, steel Acme screw thread and twin guide bars, the movement of the vice is smooth and allows for easy exertion of its high clamping force. The top of the vice jaw features 2 further 19mm dog holes for extra-wide tabletop clamping, allowing for a maximum width of board between the dogs of 490mm.

Requiring minimal assembly, the workbench can be secured to any table or suitable surface using clamps, and weighing only 10kg is easily transported or stored away when not in use. For more permanent fixing, mounting holes in the legs can be used to screw the workbench directly to a surface. This portable workbench is made from kiln dried, unfinished beech and the full workbench, including top, legs and vice jaw, will need to be suitably sealed for protection from damp and other environmental factors. ©
