Bandsaw - 150mm Cutting Height x 245mm Throat

This Rutlands® bandsaw features a spacious 245mm throat depth and 150mm cutting height, delivering increased capacity, power and performance all within a workshop-friendly footprint. With a strong steel frame and dynamically balanced wheels, the bandsaw provides smooth, vibration-free operation whether resawing tall, thick stock or making controlled, intricate curved cuts. 

Powered by a whisper-quiet 375W induction motor, the bandsaw features 2 speed settings; 400 and 800m/min, for consistent performance across multiple material types. The higher speed is ideal for the sawing of wood, composites and plastics, delivering faster material removal and chip clearance for cleaner, feather-free cuts. The lower speed increases the torque, providing greater control for the slower cutting of more dense materials, such as soft metals and heat-sensitive plastics. 

Three low-friction ball bearing blade guides, both above and below the table, sit at the sides and rear of the blade, stabilising the blade to prevent deflection and twisting. Blade tensioning and alignment is fully adjustable, and intuitive, ensuring accurate, straight cuts whilst extending the life of the blade.

The rigid cast iron worktable measures 360mm x 320mm, and is precision ground to ensure a flat, low friction surface. The table tilts through 0 - 45° to allow bevel, mitre and compound mitre sawing when using the supplied mitre gauge. The rip fence features a 60mm tall auxiliary fence that can be installed in a low-profile position, allowing the blade guides to sit closer to the workpiece when cutting thinner stock. The auxiliary circle cutting jig provides a pivot point to allow the easy production of circles, radii and curves.

At the rear of the saw is a multi-hole dust port with diameters of 50mm, 75mm & 100mm. The perforated table insert maximises dust extraction, capturing more dust at the source. A large removable drawer at the bottom of the saw captures any remaining dust not captured by dust extractor. Supplied with the saw is a 1826mm long, 9.5mm wide 6tpi blade, flexible LED worklight, circle cutting jig, push stick, mitre gauge and tool kit. Optional stand available separately. ©
