FULL DESCRIPTION
This precision engineered jig contains everything needed to produce perfectly fitting loose or 'floating' tenon joints with your router. This jig simplifies an otherwise inaccessible joint, typically only achieved with dedicated jointing machines. One of the strongest and most versatile joints available, loose tenons are ideal for furniture casework, tables and doors.

Easy to use, the brass guide bush is installed into your router and follows the clear polycarbonate template to produce accurately sized, accurately located mortises. Clear, laser etched reference lines and large central pointers allow you to quickly and easily locate the jig against layout lines on your workpiece. The template holder glides smoothly along two stainless steel rods, and once positioned, the cleverly designed ratchet handle locks the jig body in place without fouling the workpiece.

The jig provides you with full control over the depth of the mortise, allowing decorative exposed tenons when routing completely through material. The supplied template will produce a 10mm wide mortise, designed for industry standard tenons, and the length of the mortise can be increased further by repositioning and overlapping the mortise. Incredibly versatile, the jig can be used for the creation of angled joints, clamping onto the end of mitre cuts to produce strong mitred joints.

Ready to use out of the box, the jig is supplied with a solid brass guide bush, clear polycarbonate template, 10 solid beech 10mm tenons and a 1/2" shank two flute, TCT router bit. The optional dowelling attachment transforms the jig into a versatile dowelling jig. ©

Not the Festool Domino, but not the PRICE of a Festool Domino either.

I, like most other people, can't justify dropping around £1k on a Domino machine, so I bought an alternative.

Pros:
Easy to master with a little practice.
Versatile (although see below)
Comes with a router bit (1/2 inch shank though, so didn't fit my router), a router collet (which didn't fit my router), and 10 chunky tenons.
Cost effective.
Solid build quality.
Compatible with dominoes and domino-sized router bits.

Cons
Can't do mortises perpendicular to the workpiece, or in the middle of a workpiece, or on stock too big for the clamp.
Could do with more alignment markings otherwise you have to draw very long lines, or even just eyeball it if your workpiece isn't long enough.
The red tightening toggle on the side is awkwardly placed and can't be tightened if it's sitting over the workpiece (maybe can be adjusted - haven't tried yet).

Overall
I really like this jig. It has some good features, but also limitations. However, considering the cost of alternatives (Domino machine, Woodpecker Morty etc.) this is a steal at £65, and I can live with the limitations. You can always make a jig yourself (which ive done in the past), but ugh, the effort.

Nice little jig

Nice clear guide centre line guide marks making it easy to setup to your guidelines, clamps firmly and easy to use, great little device for using loose tenons on edges.
