Brushless Cordless 20V Delta Orbital Sander - 100mm x 152mm, 1.5mm Orbit with 100 Net Abrasive Sheets & Storage Case

This Rutlands® cordless delta orbital sander with 20V, 2.0Ah battery and 60 minute charger features a high performance, maintenance-free brushless motor, ensuring long battery run times and maximum sanding coverage per charge. Intelligent speed control maintains constant speed under load, ensuring a consistent material removal rate and and the highest quality, paint-ready finish. Equipped with soft start, the motor gradually and safely builds up speed and operates between a variable speed range of 4,000 to 10,000rpm, finely controlled by the paddle switch.

Ergonomically designed, the lightweight low profile body, combined with low vibration and noise values, allows the tool to be used for long periods without fatigue. Supplied with a 100mm x 152mm backing pad, this delta orbit sander runs in a 1.5mm orbit, yielding consistent surface finishes for ultra-fine sanding and finishing applications, reaching into tight corners and hard-to-reach areas, ideal for windows, door and frames.

Lightweight at only 1.6kg, the sander is comfortable to use whether operated flat, vertical or overhead, and is ideal for use in complex or difficult to access areas where a power cable or dust hose would be cumbersome. The rear body dust port provides connection to the supplied fine filter dust bag or can be directly connected to a dust extractor. Supplied with the sander is a 100mm x 152mm backing pad, dust collection bag, 20V, 2.0Ah battery and charger.

The included net abrasives maximise dust extraction, reducing exposure to the most dangerous, harmful sanding dust or toxic paint residues. The abrasives are suitable for use on a range of materials from hardwoods, softwoods and exotic woods to primers, paints and lacquers, composites and non-ferrous metals. The durable aluminium oxide abrasive coating dulls slowly, delivering a high cut rate, excellent hardness and low heat retention. ©
