This Rutlands® cordless random orbital sander with 20V, 2.0Ah battery and 60 minute charger features a high performance, maintenance-free brushless motor, ensuring long battery run times and maximum sanding coverage per charge. Intelligent speed control maintains constant speed under load, ensuring a consistent material removal rate and the highest quality, paint-ready finish. Equipped with soft start, the motor gradually and safely builds up speed and operates between a variable speed range of 4,000 to 10,000rpm, finely controlled by the paddle switch.
Ergonomically designed, the lightweight, low profile body combined with low vibration (3.52 m/s²) and low noise (81.9 dB LpA) values, allows the tool to be used for long periods without fatigue. Supplied with a 125mm backing pad, this random orbit sander runs in a 2.5mm orbit, designed for ultra-fine sanding and finishing applications whilst yielding consistent surface finishes.
Lightweight at only 1.6kg, the sander is comfortable to use whether operated flat, vertical or overhead, and is ideal for use in complex or difficult to access areas where a power cable or dust hose would be cumbersome. The rear body dust port provides connection to the supplied fine filter dust bag or can be directly connected to a dust extractor. Grate product would highly recommend
I'm very impressed with this little sander!
I'm a painter and decorator and thought it was about time I invested in some power tools to make work easier. I bought this sander to begin with and will definitely be investing in getting the palm sander as well and potentially even the dry wall sander with dust extraction. Just wish I bought 2 batteries but that's my fault.
One bad thing is the dust bag doesn't stay on properly and keeps falling off but that doesn't effect the use of the sander!
Received fast, soon put the sander to work, very impressed got the job done well.
This sander worked well removing a paint lip between two colours of emulsion. It also worked well removing gloss paint from woodwork. It is quite light and ergonomically sound to use. It is black plastic construction. I would prefer if it was a fluorescent colour to help prevent theft and make it easier to find...
I have used sanders all my working days, decided to order this one as I’ve purchased from rutlands before. Battery plunge saw (5stars)
After using this sander I give another (5 stars 🌟)
Size in your palm great, motion great, results great and you can change speed easily.
Used on a solid oak project with wonderful results
Top Class product
Thank you so much
