Burnishing Machine with Soft Start, Variable Speed Motor

The Rutlands® burnishing machine delivers powerful, stall-free surface preparation from aggressive abrasion through to final finishing on metal, wood, stone, tiles, plastic & painted surfaces. Incredibly versatile, the Rutlands® burnisher can be used to sand, texture and weather wood or satinise, deburr and de-rust metal surfaces, as well as smoothing and blending weld seams or stripping off old paint for refinishing.

The 1300W variable speed motor runs from 900 - 3,700rpm and features constant speed control, ensuring a consistent and even surface finish, no matter the load. Soft-start provides safer, controlled operation and the handle mounted trigger can be locked on for continuous use. The top mounted D-loop handle provides comfortable two-handed operation, ideal for working vertically or overhead.

Supplied is an 80 grit nylon fleece grinding wheel, suitable for general purpose smoothing and paint removal on wood, or for satin finishing and the removal of light scratches or rust on stainless steel and non-ferrous metals. With a universal keyed arbor shaft, the burnisher is compatible with industry standard accessories and 120mm diameter x 100mm wide drums, including wire brushes, flap wheels and cotton polishing wheels. A thickened protective guard deflects sparks and swarf away from the operator, and the integrated dust port, along with the supplied stepped adaptor, allows direct connection to dust extractors for a cleaner working environment. ©
