The Rutlands® cyclone dust collector with 20L drum captures up to 99% of dust and debris before it reaches the extractor, keeping filters clean to maintain maximum suction power. Save both time and money, with extractor bags and filters lasting up to 20 times longer, enabling you to work harder, longer and safer than ever. The anti-static cyclone prevents dust or debris sticking to its surface, allowing for all the dust to be passed into the 20 litre capacity steel drum.
Both portable and mobile, the cyclone features 4 swivel castors, and its reduced weight makes it easy to transport to the job. The lid is secured with an air-tight fit using 2 quick-release locking clasps, making emptying the drum a simple process. A grounding chain on the underside connects the drum to the ground, dissipating static build-up.
The cyclone is supplied with 2 screw-on fittings for 38mm dust hose, directly compatible with the Rutlands® 10L and 40L dust extractors. Also included is a 2.5m long 38mm dust hose, compatible with the Rutlands® fast-click dust hose system. A set of 3 reducing collars (38mm, 35mm & 32mm), provides further compatibility with all major industry standard hose sizes. ©

Perfect size for my workshop. Manoeuvres well and feels very sturdy.
Been making do with a basic work vacuum(Titan) and modified dustbags that allowedme to empty and re-use. Saw the Cyclone on pre-order, good price, so ordered. Arrived partway through the estimated delivery period.
Simple pressed steel collector and top, plastic cyclone, a few minutes of assembly, its ready to go. I did leave the internal basket filter out to reduce pressure drop. I didn't bother too much with the instructions, they were very basic and bit light on detail, not that it needs much.
Hooked up to vacuum and trialled by emptying the dustbag from the vac which all ended up in the cyclone and next to nothing in the vacuum - so works a treat. A small static shock first time, there is small chain in the base, but I have a PP floor so possibly doesn't work that effectively. (a point that could be referenced in the instructions).
A bit of playing around with hoses, connectors and some old inner tube has allowed me to readily connect to various machines with the Fast Click hoses I had already got. Although hose sizing and fittings are very frustrating and the Fast Click isn't that fast.
The cyclone though is good it will be much easier now to collect and empty and I should get none of the blockages that i got with the direct to vacuum arrangement
This was in not in stock, I paid for it and R said they would keep me informed of stocking progress. They did! When supply was imminent, I was informed, and as usual with R, it then arrived smack on schedule.
On receipt, the unit was very well made, the kit was thought through and of good quality. Performance when coupled up to my **** vac is excellent. I consider this good value for money and as usual R performed as on other occasions. Many thanks
