The anti-slip rubber surface grips both your bench top and the underside of your workpiece, raising it off the bench to create 25mm of clearance. This allows you to use edge profiling router bits and means the base of your project will not be scratched by your workbench. The large rubber pads work to reduce vibration to allow for maximum control of your power tool. The no-mar design of the pads ensures that both your workpiece and work surface are protected from marks during use.
These versatile blocks are ideal for routing, sanding, drilling or finishing and can be split over a larger area or used as one unit depending on the size of your workpiece. Each block locks firmly to the next with the dovetail shaped slots ensuring no movement whilst securely holding your material.
Each individual block measures 85mm x 85mm which are ideal for gripping smaller workpieces. The blocks can easily be connected when more grip is required for larger projects. ©

Good grip , 12 blocks make up a nice size , easy to link together.
Sticky enough although suspect that will reduce with dust and washing them periodically will be necessary. Used today and impressed. The linking system is why I got them as does set them apart from other bench grips. Allows more surface area and a decent number is a set. Great value.
Great pieces of equipment, despite my scepticism of how well they would work, particularly routing bigger cuts I was proved very wrong.
Works well for all bench operations and fully recommended.
These mats are fantastic at holding material while routing or sanding , they can be used to just to hold workpiece in place while marking , box of 12 for the price is just amazing , these blocks come in very handy
I'd seen similar blocks recommended, but 4 of them were on sale elsewhere at 2/3 the price of 12 at Rutlands. So I thought I'd risk thesis and see. Glad. I did - they are well made, with good grip either side and interlock to make different shapes and sizes (with a hole in the middle if needed!). So far I've used them to hold work I'm routing, sanding, drilling, screwing, and marking. They have held all the items firmly and give me plenty of confidence they will hold the pieces still. They have said me considerable time finding the right clamping solution and allowed me to batch-process multiple items more easily and quickly.
