FULL DESCRIPTION
This retractable knife is made from cast anodised aluminium that is very light in weight yet extremely strong. The casting is finished in a paint glaze and has been ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in your hand. A ratcheting autolocking slider allows you to move the blade back and forth to your required length and ensures the blade will remain locked in place during use.

The fine point of this knife had a 30 degree angle for precision work which allows for ultimate control during intricate cutting or marking on delicate projects. The knife can be used for marking and cutting applications all around the workshop. The blade is double bevelled for a clean cut of materials such as cardboard, paper, films and plastics while it can also be used to accurately mark out during projects. Fully extended the blade protrudes a full 70mm for the deep cutting of foam and polystyrene. There is a built-in blade snapper that allows you to snap the blade off in 10mm increments once the section loses its sharpness.

The knife has an overall length of 150mm and is 25mm wide with a blade width of 9mm and can be used by left and right handed users by turning the blade upside down. This is a premium quality marking and cutting knife manufactured in Japan. ©

I have recently dipped my toe into the realm wood carving. When I saw this knife on a two for one offer I snapped it up.The sturdy construction combined with acutely angled blade sold it to me.I have not been disappointed. The blades are thin enough to flex allowing pin point accuracy when cutting and carving to a line.10 extra segmented blades provide great value for money and are an added incentive to purchase.
