This aluminium layout protractor can be used in a multitude of set up applications and angle measurement tasks. The layout protractor is constructed from black anodised aircraft grade aluminium for strength and durability. The precision made components have been secured together with stainless steel pivots to ensure smooth operation.

The protractor can be set at any angle between -180° and +180° and it can be locked off at any point within this range using the knurled stainless steel locking knob. There are positive locking positions every 45° to enable setup or transfer of commonly used angles. The layout protractor can be used to accurately transfer measurements, or it can be used to set machinery blades or fences.

The layout protractor features a 230mm vertical arm and a 500mm horizontal arm, both arms feature crisp and clear metric and imperial graduations. ©

Couldn't resist buying this layout protractor at the discounted price. I love well made items like this as I like to work as accurately as possible and this will certainly help. Had a little go of it and it's beautifully made with easy to read divisions - a joy to use.
