The protractor can be set at any angle between -180° and +180° and it can be locked off at any point within this range using the knurled stainless steel locking knob. There are positive locking positions every 45° to enable setup or transfer of commonly used angles. The layout protractor can be used to accurately transfer measurements, or it can be used to set machinery blades or fences.
The layout protractor features a 230mm vertical arm and a 500mm horizontal arm, both arms feature crisp and clear metric and imperial graduations. ©

I bought this layout protractor about a month ago, had a fiddle with it and put it away until today when I needed to cut some plaster board at an angle. It really is a great bit of kit, much better than a sliding bevel because of the longer length and it has the degree markings on. White on black, even I can see it clearly. The knurled nut locks it solid, no movement whatsoever. For the price it’s great !!!
This protractor seems to be well made and although i haven't used it yet I think it will provide a good tool for my workshop
Bought this in the sale and not sure how I have managed to get by without it! Very accurate markings with great helpful indentations. The white text on black makes it super easy to read too
