Paddle Mixer - Dual Torque with 160mm Paddle

The Rutlands® paddle mixer with 160mm paddle features a powerful, dual-torque 1600W motor, delivering uncompromising, stall-free performance to thoroughly break down lumps and disperse material quickly and evenly. Two gear modes provide the versatility to match the motor speed and torque to the viscosity of the material. Gear 1 delivers low speed and high torque, for maximum mixing power in dense, thick materials such as plaster, sand and cement, or mortar. Gear 2 increases the speed and lowers the torque, ideal for mixing or thinning out lighter materials such as paint, resins, primers, adhesives and screeds. 

Soft start ensures no high-torque jerking, reducing physical strain on the wrists whilst eliminating splashing of the material. Onboard electronic speed control ensures the motor speed remains constant under load, for consistent, continuous mixing. Built-in safety features include overload protection, a no volt release switch and a motor brush changing alert. An all-metal gearbox ensures exceptional durability and wear resistance, and maximum heat dissipation during use. The motor housing features a fully enclosed back to withstand demanding outdoor conditions. 

All controls, including the variable speed dial, are conveniently located on the handle for ease of use. The ergonomically designed handles sit on a reinforced metal roll cage, designed to protect the mixer from the rigors of job-site impacts. Soft grip overmoulding provides comfort and control during use, and the handle-mounted switch can be locked on for extended use. Supplied with the mixer is a 160mm diameter mixing paddle and 2 x 22mm spanners. The paddle shaft features an M14 thread, compatible with various paddles up to 160mm in diameter. ©
