Auto filter cleaning pulsates the extractor's HEPA filter every 20 seconds, shifting any accumulated dust to prevent clogging, prolong filter life and maintain maximum suction power. Auto start activates the dust extractor simultaneously with the sander, running for a further 5 seconds after the sander is switched off to clear any dust left in the hose.

With a 225mm diameter backing pad running in a 4.0mm random orbit, this sander tackles large surface areas with ease, leaving behind a high-quality surface, free from swirls or grooves. At 1.4m in length and weighing only 3.2kg, the sander has been ergonomically designed at the optimum working length for standard room heights, for comfortable, low-exertion sanding on walls and ceilings. With exceptionally low levels of vibration (0.6m/s²), the sander offers precise control and allows for long periods of use without fatigue.

The powerful yet lightweight 400W maintenance-free motor features soft start, eliminating sudden jerking on startup. The motor speed can be set through a 4,000 - 8,500rpm range using the handle mounted control buttons, to suit the surface material and removal rate required. With intelligent speed control, the pre-selected motor speed is kept constant during use, ensuring a uniform sanding speed and consistent surface finish. Work dust-free using one of two dust extraction modes. The wall sanding mode reduces suction power, allowing the sander to glide effortlessly across walls without resistance. The ceiling sanding mode maximises suction power, allowing the sander to hold its own weight against ceilings, reliving the strain on arms and shoulders.

A generous 40 litre drum capacity allows you to work for longer, reducing downtime emptying the machine. The soft grip trolley handle folds down when not in use, and the extractor can be locked in place using the brake-operated non-marring castors.
